Terps Hold Steady at #7

The second ACHA National Ranking is released: Terps hold onto seven spot.

The ACHA Ranking committee released their second ranking of the season today.  The result for the University of Maryland Women's team is a firm hold in the top ten at seventh overall.  

Very little changed from the November 20th ranking to this most recent ranking in terms of teams.  In fact the only new team in the top ten is Bates, replacing West Chester as the 10th ranked team.  

The team has begun to focus on several key upcoming match ups within the DVCHC in the New Year. Commenting on todays rankings, Head Coach Aaron House remarked,  "We know that rankings look nice on paper.  But they don't get us in the playoffs. We are still hungry to improve and see what happens."

In the DVCHC the Terps currently are in fifth place good enough for the final playoff spot if the season ended today.  The team will add some new players in the new year as a handful of players will transfer to College Park in January.  The addition of some extra legs will undoubtedly give the Terps some extra stamina in the New Year.
