Terps Tear Up the Pond

Last weekend, after proudly competing in the Bates College Women’s Ice Hockey Showcase in Lewiston, Maine your Terps traveled through the suburbs of Maine to find a frozen sheet of glistening glory.  And thus commenced an epic intersquad battle of pond hockey.  Teams were chosen through a random distribution of sticks, including those of Coach House, and two awesome goalies Andrea Barker and Cassie Durand, skating out.  The 3 v 3 match with subs allowed for many goals, assists, and saves throughout the fun-filled game.  It was the perfect last game to the wonderful weekend of hockey up north.  After competing against Northeastern, Bates, and the University of Vermont the Terps enjoyed the easygoing atmosphere and teambuilding fun of outdoor skating.  Overall this weekend of excellent hockey has helped prepare the team for the important upcoming games.
